In Marseillan, the markets are places of life appreciated by everyone

Quality, diversity, price and friendliness make the reputation of the Marseillan city market. Place of commerce and exchange, but here with the village spirit where we come meeting others to share and discuss everything, nothing and above all for pleasure.
An end-of-season aperitif
The mayor, Yves Michel, is not mistaken, he walks the aisles whenever he can to stay in contact with the population.
"The market is a place of life, it allows us to promote our traders but also our historical heritage because it crisscrosses its heart", underlines the first magistrate."Our outdoor markets commission takes place in a good state of mind between sedentary traders and fairgrounds. Here, we advocate market balance with a variety of products offered so that it is complementary to our businesses so that this market is a market of cohesion and synthesis. Every year, moreover, we organize an end-of-season aperitif between all the traders to get feedback and to thank them for participating in the life and soul of our village. ;, specifies Yves Michel.
"The market moves between the sedentary businesses"
Behind her stall, market gardener Maryse Guy confirms: "Here, the market is balanced. The stalls are neat. The consultative commissions with the City are driving the market upwards. And, icing on the cake: parking is free!"
Further on, Émilio and Raymonde Garcia highlight the "constructive" exchanges between the municipality and the fairground workers. "We have been listened to and heard : the market is a circular path that is the cement of basic commerce. It travels between the sedentary businesses in order to integrate into the complementarity." For Mélanie Smagghe who offers leather goods, "it is an atypical market in the heart of the city in the lung of the village. We are not in a soulless parking lot. Here, we breathe!"
All year round in the heart of the city, the big market takes place from 8 am to 1 pm on Tuesdays. In the summer season, the night craft market takes place on the Port esplanade on Thursdays from 7 pm to 11:30 pm. The large Marseillan-Plage market opens from June to September on the Place du Marché, on Tuesdays, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., and at night, on Fridays, from 7 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. I subscribe to read the rest
