Noting that four cases were passed by the deciding judge last year, neither more nor less than the previous year, the head of the prosecution notes a "sign of judicial maturity" from industrial tribunal advisors, to whom he reminds, in the process, that "only the law must guide your choices, not your initial mandates& ;quot;.

How long does it take to resolve cases ?

"How lucky to be in Alès!", continues the President of the Bar, Guillaume Garcia, specialized in labor law and accustomed to pleading in other jurisdictions in the country. The lawyer welcomes, here, "the operation and practice of the pre-trial" and, turning to President Jean-François Aparicio, from the college of employers, he is pleased that ’"in a few months, it is possible to have a decision from your court". The average time to resolve cases, excluding summary proceedings, being, in fact, twelve months…

But the hearing this Monday morning should also allow the handover between President Aparicio to his successor, Antoine Lyonnet, vice-president member of the college of employees. Before handing over the hand, the first reminds his people that they embody "local justice", that the medal they wear around their neck "symbolizes that you judge in the name of the French people.

What "strategy" for the year 2024 ?

The change of presidency formalized by an exchange of medals, Antoine Lyonnet immediately turns to the future and announces an opening of the Prud’ hommes d’Alès council "outside the walls", before discussing, in a few words, a "strategy", in order to "better awareness" of the jurisdiction and to "reinforce the confidence" of litigants. Then, the new president concludes by not forgetting that he must also work to fill the "seven vacant advisor positions".
