Le médecin montpelliérain est radié par la chambre disciplinaire de l'ordre des médecins en raison de ses prises de position sur le Covid-19. 

The national disciplinary chamber has made public its decision to strike Denis Agret off the Order of Physicians. This sanction will take effect on January 1st. This decision supersedes the one handed down in spring 2022, which banned Dr. Agret from practicing medicine for three years. The latter had appealed this decision, so his request was rejected and his sanction increased.

An emblem of antivaxxers during the Covid-19 period

Very present during the demonstrations against the health pass in Montpellier, Denis Agret had become the spearhead of the antivaxxers. Wearing a mask, the dangers of vaccines, the seriousness of the epidemic: the doctor who graduated from the Faculty of Montpellier, questioned the public health policy on Covid-19 on his social networks as well as in the demonstrations. He had even been sentenced in September 2022 to six months in prison suspended for “death threats against those responsible for a public service mission” and to three years of professional ban by the Montpellier Criminal Court.

The person concerned, contacted by the editorial staff, explained that he was not informed of this decision. He reacted briefly: “When medicine collapses, you will have difficulty treating your families! Medicine in France is of an unspeakable mediocrity.”
