Le sixième International de Sète a rendu son verdict ce dimanche 3 mars.
The rain and wind did not deviate from the trajectory of the International de Sète, which held its sixth edition this weekend on the admittedly damp gravel of the Mas Coulet. For three days, amateur and professional pétanque players multiplied their passes during the biggest sporting event on the unique island. 512 triplets – among men, women and young people – were entered for this 2024 edition, organized by the AS Pétanq's Sète club.

Completed in the middle of the night on Saturday, the first phase gave rise to a few surprises on the side of the favorites, among the men, with the premature exit of the title holder Winter Claudy and the team  ;from France, led by Philippe Quintais. It was finally the trio of Lacroix, Doerr, Matraglia who won the 2024 edition – the first meeting of the PPF tour – by winning against Darodes, Feltain and Dumont.

French, Belgian, Spanish and Dutch
In the women's draw of this International – in which teams from the Netherlands, Belgium and Spain participated – the Lyonnaises Mouna Béji, Ludivine D'Isidoro and Julie Cardon did not provide details. Victorious in the final of the Lapoutge, Vigneres and Tronche triplet, they will never have been worried in this tournament.
