The Intersport store will open its doors on August 21, in place of GoSport, in the passage de l'horloge in Montpellier.

Get out your sneakers, Intersport opens its new boutique in the city center on Wednesday, August 21. The group, owned by Jacky Rihouet, had bought the GoSport boutique, located at the passage de l'horloge adjoining the Polygone. The opening will bring these two brands together under the same visual identity.

Getting closer to Montpellier residents

Intersport has points of sale all around Montpellier: Lattes, Juvignac, Jacou, Saint Aunès and Saint-Clément-de-Rivière. The group wants to get closer to the people of Montpellier and thus become accessible to everyone without a car.

The store is keeping the GoSport team and creating eight new positions. On the associative side, Intersport represents the largest local partner with more than 200 sports partnerships, such as MHSC, MHB, MHR, BLMA.

A nice birthday present

This year Intersport is celebrating its 100th anniversary. For the occasion, the brand is making its return to the heart of Montpellier. Between 1974 and 1995, it was already present at the Polygone.
