For eight months, the tenants of a three-room apartment in Cannes have no longer paid their rent. The owner, helpless in the face of the situation, began a hunger strike a week ago in order to put pressure on and get her apartment back.

His hunger strike has lasted a week. Danièle Trottini owns accommodation in Cannes. She rents her three-room apartment to tenants, who have not paid the rent for 8 months, according to BFMTV.

The tenants' debt amounting to 7,000 euros weighs heavily on the shoulders of Cannes, especially as the Banque de France l’ rsquo;deleted last week.

Desperate, the owner began a hunger strike eight days ago, supported by her lawyer Maître Nathalie Daon.

Tenants waiting for social housing

While Danièle fights between charges and taxes, the tenants, parents of four children, refuse to leave before obtaining social housing. Their dialogue with the owner remains non-existent.
