It is this Wednesday, October 2, 2024 that the SNCF ticket office opens for the Christmas holidays.

This Wednesday, October 2nd, since 6 a.m., the SNCF has put train tickets on sale for the Christmas holiday period.

Between December 15th and January 8th

Since 6am this morning, if you are a TGV, Ouigo, Intercités and TER user, you will be able to book your tickets for a journey between December 15, 2024 and January 8, 2025.

From this October 2, 2024, you will be able to book your tickets for different journeys, the railway company indicates on its website:

TGV Inoui in France and Intercités for your journeys until January 8, 2025 TER for your journeys in the next 3, 4 or 5 months, depending on the region Ouigo for your journeys until July 4, 2025

Buy your tickets as early as possible

Users are advised to book as early as possible, as soon as the ticket office opens. On the one hand, to get attractive fares and on the other hand, to be sure of getting a seat: “Among the most popular destinations, some were showing up to a quarter of the trains full within three days of the opening of sales", indicated Trainline.
