Sur les réseaux sociaux, une influenceuse toulousaine handicapée a dénoncé un dispositif payant dédié aux caisses prioritaires d'un centre commercial Leclerc.

Anaïs Barbeau, a young disabled woman aged 30, goes to the checkout counter at the Leclerc shopping center in Saint-Orens, in Haute-Garonne, where she is used to go shopping, report our colleagues from La Dépêche. There, she finds herself in front of a terminal, which she had never seen during her previous purchases.

Deposit of "2 euros"

The cashier would then have explained to her how it works and the one who calls herself "blogeusearoulettes" on social networks will ask for a card at reception. A member of the supermarket staff then tells him that it costs €2. "2 € to go to the priority checkout, it's just indecent,” she said indignantly, quoted by La Dépêche.&amp ;nbsp;

The reception would have told him that it was only "a deposit", that' she could recover when she no longer needed the card. A clarification which made the young woman laugh, suffering from an illness which is characterized by paralysis of all four limbs since birth.

The cashier "throws the groceries at the checkout"

When Anaïs Barbeau refuses to pay the deposit, the cashier then throws "the groceries at the checkout”, our colleagues report. The influencer then decides to post the story on social networks.

Contacted by La Dépêche, the brand defended itself: "This card system had for the sole purpose of improving customer comfort. The amount of 2 euros corresponded to the deposit requested for the card (…) We gave the stores (concerned, Editor's note) the instruction (…) to no longer ask for a deposit, thus putting an end to any confusion&quot ;.

All customers affected by the priority card will now be able to go to the dedicated checkouts without paying anything, deposit or not.
