Joe Biden tied up in the back of a van: the image shared by Trump outrages and causes an uproar on social networks

By relaying a video in which we see an image of Joe Biden tied hand and foot in the back of a pick-up, Donald Trump attracted the wrath of the Democrats and provoked, once again, an outcry on social networks.

He hit a new story: former President of the United States Donald Trump finds himself at the heart of a new controversy after having relayed an image of Joe on his X account Biden, his opponent in the American presidential election which will be held next November.

In this video, we see a pick-up driving with a poster on which the current American president is tied up. The painted poster displays the inscription "Trump 2024", all accompanied by several flags, including the "Thun Bleu Line", a  flag derived from that of the United States supposed to pay tribute to police officers killed on duty in the United States but regularly diverted from its initial meaning, as explained by HuffPost.

Incitement to political violence

This publication obviously aroused indignation among Democrats, and Joe Biden's campaign team accused the former president of incitement à la "political violence". "This image of Donald Trump is the genre of bullshit that you post  when you call for a butcher", blasted a spokesperson for Joe Biden's campaign on Saturday.

Donald Trump's campaign team has brushed aside the accusations. "Democrats have not only called for despicable violence against President Trump and his family. They are arming the judicial system against him", said his spokesperson Steven Cheung.
