The 54th edition of the Rallye National de Lozère, contested on Saturday April 27 and Sunday April 28, 2024, around Florac, took place in complicated weather conditions, even leading to the cancellation of the last special.

Jordan Berfa (Hyundai Rally2) clearly dominated his subject. He won at Florac, 1 minute and 30 seconds ahead of Yannick Vivens (DS3 Rally2) co-driven by Lozérien Élodie Alle, and more than 6 minutes ahead of Dorian Nicolas (C3 Rally2)' nbsp;! For Élodie Alle, confirmed co-driver, it was a complicated rally, even for Vivens who has a lot of experience in the field. "Jordan Berfa made no tire errors on Saturday, while the terrain continued to evolve. For us, this is not the case, especially in SS4 where we were in the rain while&# 39;we needed dry tires,  she explains. Vivens tried to resist, notably in the "Pompidou". He is 4 seconds behind the Hyundai at first, then points to Barre with 2 seconds better, in the second passage, emerging at the end of the first stage 30 seconds behind. Behind, the gap is considerable.

Jérémie Sérieys facing Rally2

Sunday, the rally turns into a nightmare for many. "Berfa has won the race, we must stay on the road. We border on aquaplaning on every water slide, on every braking, in the Pont-de-Montvert. It's survival and I think we're going to have to cancel the last passage, said Dorian Nicolas, 3rd in the Rally. What was done, Cédric Valentin, the organizer, co-driver of Gérard André (Ford Fiesta Rally2) logically drew the conclusions. "I did a survey, everyone is unanimous in canceling the last E.S. As far as we are concerned, we are progressing but these were not the best conditions today' ;#39;hui". Behind the best Rally2, Jérémie Sérieys, the native of Pont-de-Montvert, 7th, put in a very good performance, 4th in the ' E.S.8."We had nothing more to gain, being well ahead of the FRC4 group and the 2-wheel drive. But, Warren Tribouillois, who has anti-skid on his 208, has just set a 3rd time. He is 8 tenths faster than us…"

Frédéric Crozat deserved better

Frédéric Crozat (Peugeot 306), the driver from Saint-Pierre-le-Vieux, put in a great performance, even setting a 6th overall time. On the verge of establishing itself in the FrallyNat group, it gives up entry to the last grouping park. "When leaving the clock, the water pump failed. We were 10th overall. Our direct opponent was more than 2 minutes away…", specified Frédéric. In the rest of the ranking, Ludovic Malhautier (106 S16) garners points in the championship, winner of the "group"  F 2000. David Blanc (208), second in the R2 class and Christophe Pradeilles (AX Gti) wins in N1.
