Jousts: Mèze hosts two tournaments that could change everything in the heavyweights

La Nouvelle Lance Mézoise et la Jeune Lance Sportive Mézoise vont animer le port de la Cité du Bœuf, ces 17 et 18 août.

The whites have barely had time to dry before they have to go back to battle. Two days after visiting the spa town of Balaruc, the jousters will indeed meet in the port of Mèze, for two tournaments organized this Saturday by the Nouvelle Lance Mézoise and this Sunday by the Jeune Lance Sportive Mézoise.

Champion makers

Two tournaments that often have the reputation, quite rightly, of being champion makers. The season is indeed well advanced and, before the big Saint-Louis event, the trend often just needs a little boost to confirm itself. This year, like the two previous ones, Mickaël Wolff is in charge of the championship. The Mézois signed his third victory of the season this Thursday and seems to be on his way to the triple.

It is therefore high time for his pursuers, and in particular for Sylvio Cuciniello, to sound the revolt. With a 31-point lead in the standings and a clear rise in power, Mickaël Wolff has already taken an option. Will the Mézois weekend live up to his reputation??
