Max Roustan, mayor of Alès, intends not to leave Les Républicains, but lets his opinion be understood on Éric Ciotti's decision to get closer to the National Rally.

Questioned about the political crisis affecting his party, the mayor of Alès Max Roustan indicated that he wanted to wait until the end of the week to detail his position. "No hot reaction", he reiterated to Midi Libre.

However, this figure of the Gard right does not intend, to date, to distance himself from the Republicans, however attacking its current president, Éric Ciotti, for his rapprochement with the RN&nbsp ;: "It’It’it’someone playing stupid doesn  mean I will leave!"

At LR, Nîmes elected official Richard Tibérino, president of the Gard branch of the party, indicates that the party "will present candidates on the 6 districts of the department.
