This is the eleventh administrative closure carried out by the authorities since the summer.

The Prefecture of Hérault announced this Tuesday, October 2, on “the administrative closure of the restaurant “La Marine” in Agde, for persistent non-conformities in terms of good hygiene practices."

It was the services of the Departmental Directorate for the Protection of Populations (DDPP) who carried out a new inspection of the restaurant, located at 8,10 quai Beaupré in Agde, on September 20, as part of an investigation into a collective food poisoning at the request of the Regional Health Agency. Two other investigations had already been conducted on this establishment in April and July. The agents of the Food Safety service noted persistent non-conformities in terms of good hygiene practices”, states the report of the officials.

Also the Prefect of Hérault has taken the decision to close this establishment, "which may reopen only after compliance certified by a State inspection agent", specifies the press release.
