84 housing units and perhaps a cinema

#MILLAU –The municipal council of Millau, in Aveyron, has just voted in principle to sell a large, almost empty building on Boulevard de l'Ayrolle. The developer Cogedim will acquire the 6,170 square meters to convert them into housing (84 in total) while the second part of the building, the one overlooking the boulevard, could house a new cinema. With this announcement, the project is changing direction: goodbye to senior citizens' residences and social housing, and make way for apartments for purchase. For the cinema, the mayor of Millau, Emmanuelle Gazel, announces "guidelines enacted by the end of 2024", i.e. a deadline of March 2026. In the fall of 2025, the housing should be pre-marketed.
