Le président Requi nourrit de nombreux projets pour le Lodévois et Larzac pour la période 2024-2028.

Il prévoit 19 M€ d’investissements sur 4 ans sur des projets bien définis.

This Thursday, April 25, the elected officials of Lodévois and Larzac met in Lodève, at the Marie-Christine-Bousquet space, for a community council marked by the presentation of the first multi-annual investment plan (PPI) supported by the community since the start of the mandate.

A fund of €25,000 for municipal projects

"I consider this to be a strong development in our mandate environment. It marks the fact of projecting ourselves towards the future and shows that we can once again carry out structuring projects", explained President Jean-Luc Requi. A PPI amounting to €19 million over the period 2024-2028 marked by numerous large projects launched or to be launched. We will notably note the creation of an after-school leisure center, in the town of Saint-Jean-de-la-Blaquière, the project of which amounts to €1.3 million, or the Lodève leisure center which will be built in André-Beaumont complex for €2.8 million. This involves meeting the needs of a very important and impactful childhood-youth center in the functioning of the intercommunity. "But which provides a lot of services to the population".

In the large investments section, we also note the creation of a new building to accommodate the Household Waste service which will leave the Méridienne au Bosc area to move to the other side of the A75, between the Lodève recycling center and its wastewater treatment plant (€1.2 million). The development of the Vailhés bay is also current on the large Salagou site, between Puech and Celles (€0.8 million) and other projects are planned, such as the creation of a people's area of ​​the voyage.

"We still have an available envelope of €1.9 million that we can define or contribute to an already existing project existing", adds the president. Among the new features included in this plan, there is also the establishment of a municipal assistance fund. "During the mandate, each will be able to benefit from €25,000 to finance their projects".

Despite some questions from several elected officials including the mayor of Soubès Isabelle Périgault and that of Saint-Pierre-de-la-Fage Pierre-Paul Bousquet (the only one to abstain), the PPI, positioned at the end of the council, was approved by the entire assembly.
