Legislative 2024. On the 4th, the RN Manon Bouquin ahead of the outgoing LFI Sébastien Rome, the 3rd Jean-François Eliaou maintains his position

The RN Manon Bouquin came in first with 41.26% of the votes, followed by the outgoing New Popular Front deputy Sébastien Rome with 33% then the representative of the presidential majority-Horizons, Jean-François Eliaou (22 , 56%).

If they agree on a single point, it is this: the RN Manon Bouquin like the outgoing LFI deputy Sébastien Rome see in this first round, already, a semblance of triangular… second round. Without insulting Florence Larue, of Lutte Ouvrière, her 886 votes (1.04%) will have little weight in the final result of this 4th constituency of Hérault. Ditto for the Reconquest Bleuette Simon who, without campaigning, obtained 1822 votes (2.13%).

This Sunday, RN candidate Manon Bouquin rode the national dynamic, obtaining 35,216 votes, or 41.26% of the vote, in a poll which saw a very high participation. 73.30% of registered voters went to the polling station. "The RN brought the French back to the polls, rejoices Manon Bouquin. "It has been decades since the people are disinvesting and we see that they are reclaiming their destiny. I saw it in the region, it talks about politics in the cafes! And we are the party best able to change things. The foil is rather my opponent, the threat to the Republic is him, targets the 32-year-old candidate.

Sébastien Rome, with 33% of the votes (28,171), is continuing his mandate in the National Assembly. Labeled New Popular Front, the outgoing member of LFI, applauds at 8 p.m. a few minutes later when "the boss" Jean-Luc Mélenchon calls for the Republican front. "We are the heirs of this history, particularly in Hérault with these republican lands, I appeal to what unites, not what divides. During my two years in office, I showed that I worked with mayors who were not on my side, with business leaders, wine growers and, at the end of the day, I worked with them. rsquo;Assembly with other groups, Horizons in particular…" If Sébastien Rome noted that the neighbor of the 5th district Philippe Huppé called for Republican withdrawal, he expects the same from number three this Sunday on the 4th, ex-MP Jean-François Eliaou.

With 22.56% (i.e. 19,260 votes), the candidate wearing the colors of the presidential majority decided to run again. After a video conference with Edouard Philippe, the boss of his Horizons party, Doctor Eliaou announced to us around half past midnight this Sunday, June 30, his intention to go back into the campaign. "The RN as LFI are not in the Republican arc, I offer a third way, a reasonable way. By withdrawing, I would have betrayed the 19,260 voters who voted for me."
