LFB. After the Arena, return to normality for the BLMA traveling to Roche Vendée

Pour la 21e journée de Ligue féminine, Lattes-Montpellier voyage à La Roche-sur-Yon ce samedi (20 h 30) pour conforter la quatrième place au classement.

A meeting during which Lattes-Montpellier will be the favorite against a team from Roche Vendée, committed to maintaining but with financial problems. The Vendée team was sanctioned with one point for non-compliance with the budget during the 2022-2023 season.

On the sporting side, La Roche-sur-Yon is stuck in last place in the ranking and remains on three consecutive losses, the last of which was in the derby against Angers (65-61).

Yet in the first leg, it was the Yonnaises who won at the Palais des sports de Lattes (53-72) with 20 points from Clarke. The latter will be one to watch as the third best scorer in the league.

A new style of play

For several matches, the BLMA has been riding a new dynamic with a different style of play focused on high intensity and aggressive defense. An impressive activity like the entrances to Caetano and Zemoura facing Tarbes.

The executives are not left out either and the performances of Berniès and especially Touré at the Arena showed the rise in power of the key players as the play-offs approach .

Final phases in which the Gazelles will want to be the real scratch to annoy the big teams. But before that, the BLMA will have to secure its fourth place in the ranking at the expense of Lyon. A formation that the Gazelles will surely meet in the first round of the play-offs.
