The Château et Village Castigno, in Assignan, in Minervois, is launching the summer season by reopening its doors on Friday March 23. In this small rural village nestled in the heart of the Saint-Chinian appellation, Tine and Marc Verstraete, a Belgian couple, took on the challenge, in 2007, of bringing the vineyard, Château Castigno, back to life before ;#39;extend their hotel complex… to the houses of the old center.

In this den of digital detox (understand without TV or wi-fi) and slow food, the Castigno village was classified five stars in 2016. It offers a Michelin-starred restaurant, La Table, led by the talented duo Justine Viano and Stephan Paroche, but also La Petite Table, a friendly bistro-grill on the village square and Le Thaï, an Asian estaminet that takes you on a journey from Bangkok to Kuala Lumpur.< /p>

The profile of the positions offered

Château and Village Castigno are looking for fixed-term positions: a pastry chef, a sommelier, a room manager and two line managers, from March 11 to December 15; a tourist guide, from April 1 to October 31; a receptionist and a woman/valet, for contracts of 6 to 9 months; room and kitchen clerks, from June 15 to September 15; a grape picker, from mid-August to mid-September.
