It is now one of the major events in the calendar of official ceremonies. For two years, the municipality has chosen to celebrate National Day in style and mark it with the seal of recognition to deserving municipal police officers.
Thus, this Sunday, July 14 at Jean-Hugo Park, in front of a relatively large audience, Mayor Pierre Soujol and Charles Alloncle, new deputy for the constituency, who was participating in his first official ceremony, praised the commitment of all those who, on a daily basis, contribute to the safety of all. The municipality had placed this ceremony under the sign of « harmony and recognition towards the Nation. » Started with a salute to the flag then the national anthem, this celebration in which the city's military authorities and veterans' associations participated, was punctuated by several highlights.

A parade on foot and motorized to end the celebration

First, the military authorities reviewed the troops of firefighters and municipal police officers lined up in the main alley of Hugo Park.
The heart of the event was then marked by a series of congratulations. Pierre Soujol and his security assistant Stéphane Alibert thus honored the guard-brigadier Baptiste Gilles, Steve Pougetoux, Marie-Anaïs Sosa, Brigadier Julien Drost and Julien Bouchet, Senior Brigadier Éric Jean, Arnaud Iste, Martial Garcia and Olivier Roda, Guardian Jérémy Semelet.
This celebration of July 14 ended with a pedestrian and motorized parade greeted by loud applause.
