Lunel: the friendly match Gallia – Nîmes brought forward to Thursday August 22 at 7 p.m.

Initialement prévu le vendredi 23 août, le dernier match amical du club lunellois a été avancé d’un jour, et se tiendra donc ce soir à 19 h, sur la pelouse du stade Fernand-Brunel.

Although it was scheduled to take place on Friday 23 August at 7:30 p.m., the pre-season match between Gallia and Nîmes Olympique has been brought forward by one day, and will therefore take place this evening, Thursday 22 August, at 7 p.m. at the Brunel stadium. The reason for this change? A request from the visiting club to be able to watch the National 1 match between the Nîmes first team and Châteauroux.

Building confidence

After more than a month of intense preparation for the Gallia first team, it is already time for the last of the five friendly matches. The black and whites will play at the Fernand-Brunel stadium this Friday, August 23, at 7:30 p.m., to face one of their opponents from the Regional 1 championship, Nîmes Olympique. Although these are only games to prepare for the days that will count, the players of the Lunel club will be keen to bounce back seven days after their 2-0 defeat on the Grau-du-Roi pitch. The summer record stands at two wins for as many defeats, following two 4-3 wins against Mende and Arles, and a defeat against Agde, 2-0.

Starting the season on a good dynamic

Then, Nicolas Le Bellec's men will get straight into the tough stuff with the second round of the Coupe de France next weekend, followed by the first match of the season, at Grau-du-Roi on September 7.
