Meals and cakes for the New Year with Montpellier seniors

Du lundi 15 au vendredi 19 janvier, les 4200 adhérents de l'Âge d'or se retrouveront au Zénith pour les repas du CCAS du début d'année. Suivra la galette les 1er  et 2 février. 

Five days of festive meals for members of the golden age clubs of the CCAS of Montpellier, this is what awaits Montpellier seniors for five days next week, from 11 to 5:30 p.m. On the program, each day: a meal of course, offered by the caterer Cabiron, shows and a speech from the mayor.

The entertainment part will be the work of Richard Gardet and his orchestra, who will be in charge of the unmissable ball. Please note, Monday is the day of the week. winner of the singing competition organized in the Âge d’Or clubs last year, Nicole Karsenty, who will go on stage accompanied by a guitarist.

A check for the Telethon

The fork skills of our elders will definitely be put to the test at the start of the year since February 1st and 2nd. This time, the musical part will be provided by singer Jean-Christophe Cavalié. Followed by ? A ball obviously. 

On this occasion, on Friday February 2, a check for  16,974 € will be given to Eve Bebien, departmental coordinator of the AFM-Téléthon, the result of the mobilization of CCAS clubs and nursing homes for the last Telethon. A success since the amount collected is higher than previous years (15,261 &euro in 2022,   13,175 &euro in 2021).
