Perpignan would be interested in Montpellier center Thomas Darmon, lacking playing time at MHR this season.

MHR center Thomas Darmon could leave the club at the end of the season. According to our information, the 25-year-old from Montpellier sees Perpignan making eyes at him. The approach has already taken place. A meeting between the two parties is planned for the beginning of next week.

Passed through all youth categories

As an indisputable starter these last two seasons, including 28 matches last year (25 starts) and a call-up to the group of 42 of the XV of France thirteen months ago, the native of Poussan (Hérault) is no longer used by the staff led by Patrice Collazo. He has not played a minute since February 17 and the victory at Racing 92 (20-44).

Faced with this lack of playing time, Usap positioned itself to offer him a way out. But the file does not look easy. Indeed, the player who has passed through all the youth categories is under contract in Hérault until 2026.

Last September, the MHR went out of its way to extend the three-quarter multipurpose facility at a time when Clermont and Bordeaux-Bègles were particularly interested. The wheel has turned.
