MHR second row Paul Willemse received a red card against Ulster on Sunday April 7, in the round of 16 of the Challenge Cup. This Wednesday, April 10, the EPCR Disciplinary Commission decided to suspend the international second line for 5 weeks.

After being excluded during the first match of the 6 Nations Tournament with the Blues, against Ireland, Paul Willemse did it again, Sunday April 7, with the MHR.< /p>

After scoring the first try of the match, the Pretoria native made a mistake at the very start of the second half (41st). In a tackle, his head hit that of Ulster number 15, Marty Moore.

Stunned instantly, the second line of the MHR also opened his ear. The match referee waited until he got up to give him his second red card of the season.

Waiting for Clermont

The Disciplinary Commission has decided to suspend him for the next five weeks. He will be back for the last Top 14 match of the season, on June 8, in Clermont-Ferrand. A match which could be decisive in the quest to maintain.

In a bad period, Montpellier must endure another hard blow. He has lost his captain for three matches and the beam of his pack, back at a good level for several weeks.

Patrice Collazo and the MHR staff will have to deal in the second line with Tyler Duguid, Bastien Chalureau, Florian Verhaeghe and potentially Yacouba Camara, Janse Van Rensburg or Marco Tauleigne.
