And, if this modification was indeed voted on by the municipal council in November, it will have allowed these volunteers to raise multiple questions.
Why prohibit the creation of housing ? In the Nh zone (inhabited scrubland), no creation of housing is authorized. "Many are inhabited by retirees, who often manage their natural world scientifically, notes the committee. But these residents may need the presence of younger people, to separate their house, perhaps in two, and precisely to create housing, without creating new built areas or without waterproofing new surfaces. " In the public inquiry report, the City adds: "This orientation dates from the 2018 revision."
Why such a large area for ponds and swimming pools ? Still in these Nh zones, it is noted that ponds and swimming pools cannot exceed 50 square meters: for of chlorinated water discharged into public sanitation, "this is far too much", and to suggest the ;rsquo;orientation towards natural pools. A remark followed by the investigating commissioner: "Taking into account the N classification of this zone and the current problems relating to water management, the area of ​​50 m2 authorized for swimming pools seems excessive to me." The City, for its part, responded that it did not wish "ban, for the time being, the creation of swimming pools. The limit of 50m² for swimming pools dates from 2018."
What future for the plots of the Barnier fund ? Another reason for concern of the neighborhood committee, the future of the Ni zones, on which around forty houses were destroyed as part of the Barnier Fund: "They constitute our central daily space now, but there are no rules, no elaborate destiny.& ;quot; And to ask for consultation, thinking of a future of plantations, of allotment gardens. For the City, "the PLU makes these areas unbuildable, but allows light developments. The PLU is not intended to program a project in each Ni zone."
Why a Delta Kilometer tower ? The project of a 32-story office tower at the Delta Kilometer "dismays" the committee due to "the abandonment of public land in a strategic location in disregard of the obvious needs for a public modal exchange platform". Response of the City: "Feasibility studies are underway to support the office building project by creating a carpool parking lot of the order of 70 places."

How to move from one neighborhood to another ?
