La start-up montpelliéraine accompagne la Région Occitanie au CES 2024, salon dans lequel elle prendra contact avec des investisseurs et prospects éventuellement étrangers.

Incubated at the BIC in Montpellier, the YooSoft start-up is one of the companies that will support the Region at the CES in Las Vegas in 2024. A boon for the structure, founded in 2021 by Eric and Tassadit Quivy, which publishes software allowing you to create business software for all sectors without writing a single line of computer code.

This will indeed be the company's first appearance at the global high mass of tech: "Our goal is to show the tech giants on their own ground that' a small French start-up can compete with them,” says Tassadit Quivy about its participation in the show.

Currently very prominent, the start-up was notably in January 2023 the winner of the National State Innovation Competition i-Nov (wave 9), operated by BPI France and the&# 39;Ademe, and financially supported by the France 2030 plan, for which aid of 335,000 € was awarded to her, as well as national winner of the "Prix start" in the CIC Innovation Awards competition.

As is often the case, the concept of YooSoft finds its origins in a personal observation. Director of IT systems for the Orchestra group for a decade, Eric Quivy deploys a lot of commercial business applications there, without ever finding one that really suits…hellip;. "These applications were very complex, full of options, but not a single one really responded to the tasks assigned to it!" he remembers. So he came up with the idea of the start-up, which creates "no code" to easily respond to the requests of its various users.

International ambitions

Then comes Covid…. "This period facilitated introspection and questioning one's way of life. I then wanted to develop my idea. Thus YooSooft was born at the beginning of 2021, first called United Software. From its first months, the structure becomes a "beast" competition, which allows it to accumulate 1.6 M€ prizes and subsidies in its early days, a sum thanks to which it developed its first version. "We went from a PowerPoint to a real application, with which we filed two patents, and today have a team of 11 people!"

Marketed since January 2023, the application through which YouSoft allows you to create business software and applications is quickly finding customers. In one year, she signed with the companies Emova, a flower wholesaler that owns the Au nom de la Rose and Monceau Fleurs chains, locally for Pacific Pèche and a "health client" wishing to remain anonymous. Tassadit Quivy thus reveals, without mentioning their names, that "our start-up has numerous prospects, including several large retail giants".

Wishing to complete “a fundraising of several million euros by the end of 2024”, the founders of YooSoft will take advantage of CES to meet investors and potential customers. "We will see if they are foreigners" assures Tassadit Quivy, who announces that the company has an international ambition plan.
