A new illegal dump was noted by the territorial brigade in the town of Poussan, in an area classified as Natura 2,000.

Agents from the Sète Agglopôle territorial brigade managed to obtain the identity of the person who carried out illegal dumping in the commune of Poussan, at a place called Saint-Sulpice, this Saturday 23rd. ;nbsp;March. With a volume of 2 cubic meters, the pile of rubbish was discovered on private land in the municipality, in an area protected under the Natura 2 000 law on the coast.

Series of illegal deposits

Mainly composed of construction site waste, plastics and rubble, this deposit follows a similar incident noted on March 12, also on private land. Faced with this resurgence of incivility, the Agglopôle and the territorial brigade indicate "intensify [their] efforts to identify the perpetrators of these reprehensible acts and bring them to justice".

As a reminder, those responsible for such deposits are exposed to significant sanctions, up to a fine of 1 500 euros and confiscation property used in the offense.
