Nearly 2,000 people march against the far right in Béziers

Some 2,000 people, according to the CGT security service, are participating in the big march against the extreme right organized by an inter-union led by the CGT, joined by several left-wing political parties.

They met at 2 p.m., this Tuesday, April 23, in front of the Labor Exchange in Béziers, at the call of an Inter-union taken away by the CGT and its general secretary Sophie Binet and joined by France Insoumise of Hérault, the PS, the PC or even candidates from the "United Left" to Europeans.

In the end, some 2,000 people, according to a figure communicated by the CGT security service, set out in a march towards the Allées then the Champ de March in Béziers, to defend freedoms and against the extreme right. Participants, some of whom arrived by busload from outside, from all over Hérault or the Occitanie region.
