Two men were injured this Sunday evening around 8 p.m. in Chemin-Bas-d'Avignon after shootings near Place Lahaye. An investigation is open, the police have been deployed

Two men were injured this Sunday evening, around 8 p.m., after shootings in the Chemin Bas-d'Avignon district following a burst of gunfire which took place Lahaye, we learned this Sunday. Two victims were hit by the shots but the injuries would not have led to a life-threatening condition. The injured were reportedly hit in the lower limbs. A suspect was arrested. The police have deployed personnel in the area to begin investigations after this new episode of shootings in the neighborhood which has seen several sequences of shootings including a fatal one last February. The events occurred against a backdrop of war between drug gangs.
