Nîmes: Castella (Saumade) and Ziko Katif win the Jean Lafont Trophy

En ce jeudi d'ouverture de la Féria de Pentecôte, les arènes de Nîmes proposaient un concours de manades, Trophée Jean Lafont, comptant pour le Trophée des As., Midi Libre, La Provence, FFCC.

Castella is furious and halfway through the race jumps high and strong to the front row hitting El Ghiati and signing the action of the day. He warms up on a wobbly string and put under pressure by the whites, he goes to the center to recover and finds J. Martin and shines but it is Félix who gets up first. Stuck Katif's ankle at the finish and left his second to Garcia in the 12th. 7 Carmen and back.

Vicar (Saumade, N. 405). It's not easy to get to the head! Of course F. Martin and defends more than 6' its attributes. Katif makes the strings shine. F. Martin also by placing his hand on the front to prolong the musical pleasure. Félix shines, F. Martin outbids, the president too but the strings come in at 1000 €. 7 Carmen and back.

Excellent performance from Ripart (Didelot-Langlade). Here in nice anticipation behind Zakaria Katif. Hervé Bernon Ripart (Didelot Langlade, N. 437). With him it gets complicated in the board terrain. From the attributes Ripart holds the raseteurs. El Ghiati makes Carmen scream on a beautiful raset. Katif worker commits and takes the 2 acorns in 9'. Great action after F. Martin. The president outbids the strings by up to 1500 but they remain on the horns. 4 Carmen and back.

Dangerous commitment from Castella (Saumade) behind Nordine El Ghiati. Hervé Bernon Castella (Saumade, N.406). The Biou d'Or very quickly knows where to stand and the equation becomes complicated. Félix makes the cut in 3rd. Katif the cockade in the 4th and F. Martin climbs behind it and makes a tassel. Phew! At the 7th El Ghiati crosses the track for a heroic skim, Castella hits him all the way to the front row. Nice action after F. Martin but it's J. Martin who lifts the second tassel at the 10th. The bonuses rise very quickly, up to 2500 €, but to no avail they remain on the horns in music. 6 Carmen and back.

Vizier (Saumade, N. 504) Excluding points. He has anger running through his horns and makes it known. Defends 3' its attributes but keeps a string. In the 4th, he jumped after Katif.
