Des fortes pluies ce dimanche sur les Cévennes ont entraîné des inondations de ponts et des éboulements. La RN106 reliant Florac (Lozère) à Alès (Gard) est fermée, ce lundi 1er avril.

DirMed has started work to clear some 2,500 tonnes of rocks, an operation which should last around 48 hours.

RN 106 is often subject to landslides, as in January 2018 or January 2019.

The RD57 south of Meyruès is also affected by a landslide this Monday and traffic is on one lane.

Bridges under the water

Coming after the snow, the heavy rains causing flooding also caused the closure of several bridges in Gard and Lozère. As in Vialas in Lozère or several submersible bridges in Gard, including 17 on departmental roads, notably in Dions, already affected by the deadly floods caused by storm Monica on March 9 and 10.
