One in two companies are victims of cyberattack: what solutions are being considered by the Hérault CCI

For three years already, the Financing Forum desired by the CCI has been called "Transitions invested". A way to continue talking about financing… and everything else. Starting this year with cybersecurity. This will be the case next Tuesday, April 23, at the FDI Stadium, the home of Montpellier-Handball, from 2 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Around thirty banks, communities, consulting firms will be present to receive professionals and support them with their financing, investments and other matters. For general contact or face-to-face meetings, by appointment, to be made now.

"How to protect yourself"

"Last year, we had 300 participants. This year, we are expecting between 400 and 500, underlines André Deljarry, president of the CCI Hérault. We are here to support small businesses on a daily basis. Our added value is connection. There, in addition, with the 6:30 p.m. conference, we will talk to them about cybersecurity. How to protect yourself? How to protect your data? This is at the center of their concerns. And that concerns all sectors."

One in two companies…

"In 2021, continues Stéphanie Andrieu, president of the CCI financing commission, une company in two had suffered between one and three cyberattacks in the year. Viruses, data theft, hacking… We must support our entrepreneurs, including VSEs: 95% of our companies have fewer than five employees. Sometimes all it takes is a small gesture like changing your password. Cybersecurity is much easier to implement than digitalization for example."

Transitions invest exhibition, Tuesday April 23, from 2:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., at the FDI Stadium, 1000 avenue du Val-de-Montferrand, in Montpellier. Free admission. BtoB registration on the CCI Hérault website.
