Open-air cinema at the Arènes de Béziers

For the first time, an open-air cinema is being organized in the Béziers arenas, starting this Monday, July 1st, then every Monday until the end of August (except concert days and Feria). This is an opportunity to (re)discover cult films within the Béziers building.

This Monday, July 1, heralds the start of a movie-loving summer for Béziers. For the first time, an open-air cinema is organized at the city's arenas. On show this evening: "Bohemian Rhapsody", a cult film retracing the destiny of the group Queen and its iconic singer Freddie Mercury. The opening will be from 7:30 p.m., in a guinguette spirit.

With pétanque court, cocktails and the possibility of eating on site, the objective is to be able to relax before the start of the film. The track, entirely covered with synthetic turf, will allow anyone who brings their chair, towel or cushion to settle down and enjoy the session.

The screening will begin at 9:30 p.m., after dark.

Other films will be screened during the months of July and August. "Untouchables" or the animated film "Tous en scène", to allow broadcast in a more family spirit, are planned soon.

Summary of the evening program

– Tickets are on sale on the site or at the ticket office on site.

– Free for children under 4 years old and at the price of 9 € for older children.

– Doors open from 7:30 p.m., with pétanque, cocktails and possibility to eat.

– Screening begins at 9:30 p.m., once night falls.
