It's 2024 and the Paris Olympic Games are fast approaching. This summer, spectators from all over the world will flock to the capital and host cities in droves. Consequence of the arrival of this wave of tourists: consumption will increase and several everyday products should see their sales take off, reports Le Parisien&nbsp ;according to a confidential study carried out by a firm specializing in consumer affairs.

This study is based on what London experienced during the 2012 Olympics. That year, in the British capital, international tourists spent ;nbsp;6% more than the previous year.

Increase in sales of "pleasure products"

The study focuses in part on a probable increase in sales of "pleasure products" like chips, alcohol and drinks, essential at major sporting events.

These events are also conducive to encounters, which sometimes lead to intimate relationships. Thus, the study also predicts an increase in condom sales. During the London Olympics, the study noticed a notable increase of 5% in condoms during the summer.
