Tick-tock, the clock is ticking and every minute brings the country closer to its Olympic Games. Five days before the opening ceremony, the final settings are being refined, the final spotlight on the new features labeled "Paris 2024" are given.
This Monday, Emmanuel Macron inaugurated the new police station created in the Olympic village. The President of the Republic, microphone in hand, took the opportunity to emphasize the security issue of the event.

Legacy
"I want to commend the work that has been done in terms of security. We will be ready. I would like to thank many people, especially the 250,000 women and men who sacrificed family time to ensure these Games […] I will come back after the Games to see the legacy and see the life that has changed", Macron declared in front of a handful of law enforcement officers, present for the’ ;rsquo;used.
The Minister of Sports and Olympic Games, Amélie Oudéa-Castera, and the Minister of the Interior, Gérald Darmanin, were also present.
