Paris 2024 Olympics: this former MHSC player that Thierry Henry could call alongside Mbappé and Griezmann to try to win gold

Will Thierry Henry select an experienced trio in attack? – MAXPPP MOUNTING

According to Le Parisien, the Espoirs coach, in charge of the selection for the Paris Olympics, would have decided on the three players over 23 that he would select: Kylian Mbappé, Antoine Griezmann, and another veteran in point of the attack.

The best defense is attack. The France Espoirs team is preparing to compete in one of the biggest events in its history, this summer, during the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, at home. nbsp;

Lead by its new coach Thierry Henry, and some of the best talents in the world, in their positions, the French team will undoubtedly be a candidate for Olympic gold.

The rule is clear for the Olympics, the selections have the right to select only three players over 23 years old. Kylian Mbappé has long shown his desire to participate in the event: "It's the absolute Holy Grail, which all sportsmen and women in the world want to compete and experience at least once in their lives."

Three superstar forwards

The captain of the Blues could experience an eventful summer between the announcement of the signing for his future club, and Euro 2024, before the Olympic event. His teammate in the France A team, Antoine Griezmann, also spoke of his desire to wear the blue tunic in August. "It’is a dream, he explained. You can imagine, wearing the jersey of the French team, in Paris, at the Olympic Games, for a global meeting… It gives you chills. If I am called, I will put extraordinary pressure to be allowed to do them."

If the two leaders of the "great" French team should be part of the adventure, a doubt remains among the third thief who will be called Thierry Henry. Hugo Lloris, now goalkeeper in MLS at Los Angeles FC, who could add to his list of achievements before bowing out. Raphaël Varane, who retired from international football but still has some going on (30 years old).

"That’is something missing from my list"

According to Le Parisien, the ex-Gunner's choice would fall on Olivier Giroud. The experienced striker (37 years old), champion with Montpellier in 2012, is enjoying a second youth in Serie A with AC Milan this season (12 goals and 8 assists in the league). Will number 9 be able to string together a grueling season with his club, a Euro with the Blues (from June 14 to July 14) and an Olympic fortnight (from July 24 to August 10) ?

"It would be great to play in the Olympics, to participate in the Olympics for my country, obviously. “It’s something that’s missing from my track record,” confided Giroud regarding the Olympic Games.

The ball is now in the coach's court who already has a huge offensive reservoir with Elye Wahi, Arnaud Kalimuendo, Michael Olise, Rayan Cherki, Bradley Barcola. A puzzle in perspective…
