Clive Owen, Louise Bourgoin, Chiara Mastroianni are notably starring in this new series in six 52-minute episodes.

Only a few more days to wait before the inhabitants of Sauve rediscover the charms of their medieval city on the small screen, through the series directed by Scott Franck (co-creator of the sublime Netflix series Le&amp ;nbsp;Dame de la Dame), Mister Spade.

Partly filmed in Sauve between October 25 and December 1, 2022, the filming aroused, as we recall, a lot of enthusiasm among the population. The presence of Clive Owen, Louise Bourgoin, Chiara Mastroianni and Denis Ménochet had happily shaken up the habits of the Sauvains.

Saved in the 60s

The preview of the series in 6 episodes of 52 minutes has just taken place at the CGR cinema in Lattes. Occitanie Films and Canal + unveiled the first two episodes to an impatient audience. Everyone was thus able to recognize the alleys, the squares, the town hall of Sauve, brought back for the purposes of the scenario in the 1960s.~60s~/p>

Before the broadcast, the producer of the series in France, Barbara Letellier of Haut et Court TV, wanted to thank, once again, the elected officials and the population of Sauve, but also of Bozouls, Pézenas and Pignan for their welcome and availability.

A detective who thought he was retired

The pitch of Mister Spade ? "A renowned detective in San Francisco in the 1940s, Sam Spade (Clive Owen) is now living happy days in the south of France, in Bozouls, whose charm and people he appreciates. The return of an old enemy disrupts his peaceful retreat…" Quite a program!
