The road suffered from heavy rains in early spring. 

From Monday May 27, 2024, 8 a.m., until Tuesday May 28, 2024, 6 p.m., departmental road 808 will be closed in both directions of traffic for geotechnical probe work. This work concerns the landslide zone located in the commune of Grèzes, near the summit of the Vielbougue pass, on a portion of the road linking Marvejols to Barjac.

Stability issues

Since March 14, 2024, this section of the RD 808 has already been subject to alternating traffic regulated by lights, due to stability problems that occurred after heavy precipitation in early spring.

The planned work aims to secure this route.

During this period, a diversion will be put in place to minimize disruptions. Drivers should plan their journeys accordingly and follow signposted diversion routes.
