In addition to its new content on the newspaper and the website, Midi Libre is launching its podcast “Graine de champions”, in partnership with the Occitanie Region. The idea ? Give athletes a voice 6 months before the Paris Olympics. Third part: mountain biker Victor Koretzky, 29-year-old from Lodévois and spearhead of the French mountain bike team for the Games.

Medal Chance

After the table tennis player from Montpellier Alexis Lebrun and the volleyball player from Gruissan Héléna Cazaute, meeting with Victor Koretzky(29 years old), regular at the Olympic games and candidate for the medal on July 28 and 29.  Born in Béziers, the mountain biker grew up in Lodève, lives in Montpellier and is licensed in Narbonne.

After two mixed years on the road, Koretzky continued to perform well on the mountain bike. His 2023 season ended in a cannonball with four World Cup victories, a success in the test event of the Olympic Games and a 4th place at the World Championships in Glasgow.

10th at the Rio Games in 2016, 5th in Tokyo in 2021, the Héraultais is more than ever a serious candidate for the medal.
