Pro D2: ASBH supporters more than ever in the starting blocks

Il devrait y avoir encore pas mal de monde cette saison en tribune ! Midi Libre – SYLVIE CAMBON

As ASBH is about to start the championship on Friday in Nice, supporters are flocking in droves to buy subscriptions. There are already 1,100 of them. There were 700 at the same time. For its part, the club shop is always full.

A crowd at training sessions, a shop that is always full, subscription sales galore… As Béziers is about to start the Pro D2 championship on Friday in Nice (7 p.m.), the club's supporters are constantly stepping up to the plate. And this has been going on for several weeks: “We passed a thousand subscribers a fortnight ago, says Arthur Bachès, the general director of ASBH.This Monday, we were at over 1,100. Last year at the same time, we were at 700. This represents an increase of almost 40%."

Still the lowest prices

This year, in terms of subscriptions, the offer has changed somewhat. As is the case in all other stadiums, the club has set up three categories of locations in the stands: “The prices have therefore changed, specifies Arthur Bachès. Knowing that we still have the lowest in Pro D2.”Season ticket prices range from 210 euros for a category 2 renewal to 295 euros for a first category 1 subscription. Each season ticket holder has priority for ticket purchases during the final stages, a 20% discount at the refreshment bar and 10% on products sold in the shop.

The jersey is finally available

A shop where supporters are constantly passing by. Who, beyond subscriptions, are rushing to buy the new set of jerseys: “I haven't stopped getting calls to find out when they'll be available, smiles Océane Cantinol, the store manager. I just received them this Monday. Knowing that three-quarters of the stock of this season's new products have already been sold."

Supporters' clubs are also on the lookout. They see their number of members increasing day by day: “We had 400 last season, says Rémy Rugiero, the treasurer of Rugbiterre. We have already registered 150.” For its part, the Brennus club, which has already targeted five trips this season (Valence Romans, Provence rugby, Montauban, Colomiers, Aurillac) is also seeing its membership applications take off. There were 150 of them in the previous championship.

Enough to announce a particularly colorful season in the stands! No one will complain. Especially not the players.
