RAF – Paris FC: Rodez will spend the second half in numerical superiority to get the break

The Paul-Lignon stadium will be the scene of the first play-off for accession to Ligue 1 between Rodez and Paris FC, this Tuesday, May 21.

For the majority of Ligue 2 clubs, the season ended last weekend. But for three of them, it continues for a few more days. Rodez earned this right thanks to a fantastic season finishing in 4th place.

For this first play-off, the Ruthenois host Paris FC who will advance without their best player, the injured Ilan Kebbal. Completely, Didier Santini's players will have a whole audience ready to support them to continue the adventure, because the winner of this duel will challenge Saint-Étienne in the Geoffroy-Guichard cauldron, this Friday.

The last meeting between the two teams dates back only to April 23. Meeting in which the RAF emerged victorious with an own goal from Kolodziejczak. Long cornered in defense, the Aveyronnais had shown impressive defensive cohesion which will need to be repeated this Tuesday evening.

Note that this evening, VAR will be used during the meeting, if necessary. In the event of a tie at the end of regulation time, it will go straight to a penalty shootout.
