Après un week-end marqué par une baisse des températures, une vague de chaleur va passer sur la France ces prochains jours, suivie par des temps pluvieux.

“The Azores High is moving up towards Central Europe at the beginning of the week, where it is settling in for the long term”, this phenomenon is synonymous with heat. But starting this Thursday, August 29, an oceanic disturbance will cause stormy tensions, according to La Chaîne Météo.

Tuesday and Wednesday, high temperatures

These two days will be marked by general sunshine across the whole of France. This Tuesday, August 27, temperatures will reach up to 31 °C in Occitanie, and will not drop below 28 °C in the afternoon.

On Wednesday, temperatures will reach 32°, on the Atlantic coast however, they will be lower, 19 °C on the Breton coast, La Rochelle and Biarritz will be respectively at 22° and 23 °C. The Mediterranean will be at 30 °C.

Rain on Thursday and Friday

The Basque coast will be hit by rain, as will the Channel, Bordeaux and Limoges. The rest of the country will be split between sunny spells and bright sunshine.

On Friday, however, the Channel and Mediterranean coasts will be spared from rain. From the northeast to the southwest, the territory will face unstable weather, with thunderstorms and it will be less hot than the day before.
