The city wants to guarantee the safety of users.
The risk of a boundary wall of a riverside property collapsing on Chemin du Mas de Balan is forcing the services of the City of Nîmes to close the road to traffic, starting Monday, October 14, for an indefinite period, in order to guarantee the safety of users.
Only riverside access will be possible on Chemin du Mas de Balan, which will be closed off on either side of the work zone at number 152. Pedestrian traffic will also be prohibited in the work zone. Vehicles will be diverted via Chemin de Tire-Cul, which will be restored to two-way traffic in light of the circumstances. Please note that vehicles weighing over 3.5 tonnes are prohibited from driving on Chemin de Tire-Cul. Traffic difficulties are to be expected in the area.
