Wearing a uniform at school: Béziers launches at the end of February

#HERAULT –From Monday February 26, at the end of the winter holidays, 719 students from Béziers will wear the uniform. This is part of the experiment desired by Minister Gabriel Attal and to which the mayor of Béziers, Robert Ménard, logically immediately joined. He himself had defended the wearing of the blouse since 2014. A trousseau worth 200 euros will be given to the children of the four schools concerned. It will be financed half by the State and half by the City. The municipality is moving towards a blazer on top, a choice of a skirt or pants (or Bermuda shorts) on the bottom. A local supplier has been chosen.

Rodez-Paris flights saved until August

All schuss in the Lozère and Aigoual mountains!

#SKI – With the last snowfalls at the start of the week, in Lozère, the Bleymard-Mont Lozère resort was finally able to start its 2024 season. It opened its Nordic ski area on January 12, and alpine ski enthusiasts have been able to hit the slopes since this Saturday. "As soon as we have a little snow, we will open", rejoices director Christophe Aldrovandri. For the moment, of the 7 alpine ski slopes, two green slopes are open, which is a delight for children and beginners. In the Gard too, the 60 centimeters that fell during the night of January 12 to 13 brought joy to ski enthusiasts. The Alti Aigoual station therefore opened, for the first time this 2024 season, Saturday January 13 and Sunday January 14. And on Saturday, it was already busy on the slopes. Some had even come from Bouches-du-Rhône to enjoy the pleasures of skiing. "The resort’s atmosphere is very family-friendly, the site is secure and the staff are impeccable,” explains a young mother.
