Roland-Garros: big first for Frenchwoman Chloé Paquet, qualified for the third round

La joueuse tricolore, 136e mondiale, a dominé la Tchèque Katerina Siniakova, ce jeudi 30 mai, pour s’offrir le tout premier 3e tour de sa carrière en Grand Chelem.

Frenchwoman Chloé Paquet, 136th in the world, qualified for the third round of Roland-Garros for the first time in her career by beating Czech Katerina Siniakova (33rd) 3-6, 7-6 (7/2) on Thursday ), 7-6 (10/6).

At 29, the Frenchwoman will face another Czech, Marketa Vondrousova (6th), victorious at Wimbledon last year and finalist at Roland-Garros in 2019, to try to reach the 8th round of final.
