Frenchman Julian Alaphilippe has signed up for three years with the Swiss Tudor Pro Cycling team, led by Fabian Cancellara.
After the excitement of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, Julian Alaphilippe announced this Monday, August 19 that he was going to join the Swiss Tudor Pro Cycling team.
A continental professional license
Despite numerous requests, notably from the Total Énergies team, the Frenchman finally decided to join a second division team, with the project“young” but “solid” as he admitted in an interview with the newspaper L’Équipe.
With a continental “ProTeam” license, the Tudor Pro Cycling team depends on invitations for the classics or the grand tours. She also took part in the last edition of the Etoile de Bessèges, in the Gard. But with a squad whose quality will be greatly improved, the Swiss team should at least give the organizers food for thought.
Loulou or Juju, call him as you wish! But get ready to see @alafpolak1 with the TUD jersey from 2025 onwards.
