Seven passengers in one car: one dead, five others injured in dramatic road accident

Une jeune femme de 18 ans est décédée dans un accident de la route près de Castelnaudary dans l’Aude, ce dimanche 7 avril. Sept personnes étaient à bord du véhicule qui a fait plusieurs tonneaux.

A dramatic road accident caused the death of an 18-year-old woman when she left the road this Sunday at 4:30 a.m. rsquo;Aude to Saint-Martin-Lalande. The car, which was driving towards Castelnaudary from Saint-Papoul, rolled over several times before coming to a stop, indicates La Dépêche. The reason for leaving the road is not yet known.

Two other people in absolute emergency

On their arrival, the six emergency ambulances discovered that seven people were on board the Citroën C5 at the time of the accident. Two of them are currently in absolute emergency, and three others in relative emergency. One passenger is unhurt. All the injured were evacuated to hospitals in Carcassonne and Toulouse. Traffic had to be cut off on this axis until around 7 a.m. this morning.

"These are young people from the area who were certainly coming back from a party that was a little too drunk. Toxicological samples have been taken, they are currently being analyzed…" indicates squadron leader Adrien Santarelli, company commander of Carcassonne gendarmerie, at the microphone of L’Indépendant.
