Un père de famille a comparu, ce vendredi 29 mars 2024, devant le tribunal correctionnel de Meaux, pour des violences aggravées commises sur sa fille, âgée de 15 ans. La mère de la victime était jugée pour non-assistance en danger.

Her father flew into an indescribable rage after learning that his daughter had run away for a few hours.
This Friday, March 30, the Meaux criminal court followed the prosecution's requisitions and sentenced the 44-year-old man to three years in prison for aggravated violence, indicates Le Parisien. While the mother, aged 35, was tried for failure to assist a person in danger. The prosecutor also requested eight months in prison with probationary suspension, with partial withdrawal of authority. parental.
His cousin saves his life
The teenager was able to be saved thanks to her cousin who called for help and alerted the Torcy police station. Arriving on site, the police noticed nothing since the father had “hid his daughter”. Seeing that they were heading back, the cousin, panicked, rushed into the street to get the patrol to come back, showing them photos of the teenager with her face swollen.
Serious violence highlighted by the court
President Stéphane Léger did not hide his amazement at the seriousness of the father's gesture: "The court is used to judging violence, but never of this seriousness, with this intensity. You fought hard, you beat her up."
And the magistrate reminded the defendant that it was absolutely not a gesture of occasional irritation: "It happened in the street, in the living room, in the bathroom. You dragged her by the hair", reports BFMTV.
The defendant admitted that his anger had overwhelmed him. He was also on trial for death threats, for having said "if I use my hands I will kill her ".  ;"I’was educated like that", did he put forward to justify the belt blows given to his daughter . He notably described a form of gearing and spoke of regrets.
The mother admitted to having been briefly present in the apartment, when her ex-partner was beating her daughter: "J& I looked away, at no time did I think that he was going to be so persistent. For me, it was just a few slaps and a few belt hits."
The teenager currently benefits from a total criminal incapacity for work for fifteen days due to the multiplicity of blows and a broken nose.
