The SNCF is putting train tickets – TGV inOui and Intercités – on sale this Wednesday March 13 for this summer. 400,000 additional TGV tickets are being offered to travelers compared to the previous year, in particular in anticipation of the Paris Olympic Games which will take place from July 26 to August 11.

That's it, the time has already come to prepare for the summer holidays: the SNCF ticket office for summer holidays opened this Wednesday March 13 at 6 a.m. ;nbsp;

It is now possible to book your trip on the TGV Inoui and Intercités for the period from July 6 to September 11, a period which includes the summer school holidays but also the Olympic and Paralympic Games. Seats on Ouigo trains can also be reserved for journeys until December 14. 

400,000 additional TGVs

The SNCF specifies that "400,000 additional TGV Inoui places"  will be offered compared to last summer, i.e. 300,000 between Paris and the Atlantic axis, and 100,000 between the capital and the South-East. 

The railway company advised travelers to get up early to benefit from the best prices and secure a place on board its trains this summer. Very often on the day the ticket office opens, the online sales site is slowed down due to the crowd.

Traffic on the site sncf-connect.com could also be slowed down due to a strike: the& nbsp;Sud-Rail union called this Monday for the mobilization of employees at the counters and at the telephone exchange, to denounce their working conditions.
