Snow in South Aveyron: the prefecture publishes an alert message

Traffic conditions could be difficult on the motorway network (A75) as well as on the secondary network and more particularly on Lévezou and Larzac. 
 

If unlike its neighbors like Lozère, Aveyron is not the subject of particular vigilance from the Weather France, the prefecture has just broadcast an alert message to road users in particular. 

"An active disturbance approaches Aveyron on Saturday evening. The rain-snow limit drops from the middle of the night to around 600 m or even 400/500 m. Precipitation is continuous with snow intensities of 1 to 2 cm/hour.

Precipitation gradually eases over the department from west to east on Sunday morning. The potential for cumulative snowfall during the episode is 3 to 10 cm above 600 m altitude, locally more.
