Passionate about baking "for a long time", Solène Valette decided to give substance to her tasty penchant by launching the first shop entirely dedicated to cookies in Millau.

A nursing assistant in her first life, the young married mother of four children and "three stepchildren", left her blouse to devote herself entirely to this new challenge, delicious, crunchy…

"I got up one morning with this idea in mind : making cookies, se remembers the pastry chef. I wanted to work on orders at first, then the idea of ​​taking a small place came to me.”

Since last Monday, Solène Valette has been unveiling a menu of sweet and savory cookies – "the most difficult to perfect" – whose recipes have been previously tested and approved by the extended family and friends.

A timeless American pastry

A comforting menu as desired. Regressive too when you discover the enunciatory titles that plunge us into childhood. "Sleeping Beauty", a cookie enhanced with a pretty raspberry and white chocolate marmalade, "The Little Mermaid" with dark chocolate/fleur de sel flavor, “The Lion King” and its lemon-hazelnut combo, “The Snow Queen” with coconut and milk chocolate flavors…

The menu also has fun with codes by revisiting the cookie in its savory version which it offers under the name Cookizzas. Fresh cheese, pepper confit and country ham, tapenade, pesto or even Roquefort and nuts which make up the unmissable "Aladin"… Solène Valette does not forbid anything. Not even when she breaks down this timeless American pastry into a verrine version. Goods named "Cookines". 

All prepared then cooked on site in the small laboratory at the corner of rue Claussel de Coussergue and rue Solignac. Which is open to the rest of the store with colors that are both pep (like the owner) and soft. To be enjoyed urgently on site or to take away!
